I certainly don't want that to happen. However, if that is who Pioli wants and he's willing to stake his own job on it, I'd be willing to see what happens. If it didn't work, Pioli is gone, much like Haley writing his own ending with the hiring of Muir. And if it works, cool.
I really think that would potentially be the end of Pioli. It isn't anywhere near a safe hire, so he'd be putting his neck on the line. Posted via Mobile Device |

With Todd, we knew this was his last year or next. If we hire Josh? You get the same feeling but know he couldn't possibly be fired until 2-3 years down the road. Basically no reason for hope anytime soon. |

Hiring McDaniels means a couple more years of Cassel, which might as well have been a couple more years of Haley. Meet the new boss, same as the old boss. |

McDaniels will not be our head coach, Cassel will not be our QB. Relax. |

I have truly been a big loyal Chiefs fan for over four decades. Not the buy-the-T-Shirt-at-ungodly-prices kind of a fan. But a live-or-die-with-the-Chiefs type. Through thick and thin. But if Pioli goes with McDaniels I might just become a true definition of a fair weather fan. I made this decision about the Cyclones of Iowa State about 10 years ago and now I only care about them when they are showing signs of success. The bad years?... I just don't care enough to let it bother me. It works wonders for my heart's health.

I don't care who is coaching as long as we get a new QB.

GoCHiefs is correct
A Josh assistant was caught with film of an opponent That's bad Pats & to be avoided at all costs |
