Cardinals cut Adrian Wilson
Interested? Solid player just getting up in age.
Cardinals cut Adrian Wilson Posted by Michael David Smith on March 8, 2013, 12:23 PM EST APAfter 12 seasons and five Pro Bowls, Adrian Wilson is done in Arizona. Wilson, who has played more games for the franchise than any other player since the Cardinals moved to Arizona in 1988, was informed today that he is being released, Mike Jurecki of XTRA 910 reports. The move will save about $3 million in salary cap space for Arizona. Although it’s hard to think of Wilson in any other team’s uniform, this move is not particularly surprising. It is well known that the Cardinals want to get younger under their new coaching staff, and Wilson will turn 34 during the 2013 season. Still, Wilson has enough left that he’ll catch on somewhere. He now gets a brief head start on the rest of the safety class in free agency. |
A 34 year old safety? No thanks.

If he was about 6 years younger yeah.

Does every player that gets cut need it's own thread?
|
I know he use to be a good player, how is he now? I haven't really paid much attention to him or the Cardinals.

Name is in the title so if you don't want to talk about that player you don't enter it. |

Here are the free agents that I can think of now... I thought this might be more convenient than having a shitload of various player threads. George Wilson, S Buffalo. Adrian Wilson, S Arizona Deangelo Hall, CB Atlanta Sean Smith, CB Miami Cary Williams, CB Baltimore Ed Reed, S, Baltimore Aaron Ross, CB Jacksonville Nnamdi Asomugha, CB Philadelphia Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, CB Philadelphia Dawan Landry, S Jacksonville Aquib Talib, CB New England Dashon Goldson, S San Francisco William Moore, S Atlanta Antoine Cason, CB San Diego Patrick Chung, S New England Leodis McKelvin, CB Buffalo |
The Panthers cut Chris Gamble as well.
|
we should be going after Dashon Goldson
|
Goldson would be great but likely cost to much.
