semi isn't bad and all, but if you can get full auto. Well, why wouldn't you?

it's the new tommy gun!

Slingin full auto .45s..... LOL.... I can see the appeal in that.....

Heh, I just went out and picked up a New Herritage Manufacturing Rough Rider .22 6 shooter. One of the local outfits had them on sale for $114. I have no clue what the hell I'm going to do with it, but I couldn't pass up that deal. :)

Anyone have any experience with the Trijicon red dots that don't require any batteries?

Awesome, thanks, I just have a few questions if you don't mind because I think I'll be getting one.

How does it work in the dark? Does it just require the tiniest amount of ambient light? Is the brightness of the dot ever affected?

Bwana 04-29-2011 12:52 PM

It works great it total darkness and remains the same brightness. I have a Luminox watch, that does the same thing.

On a side note, I also have a Lasermax on the same gun.

Awesome. Thanks, man.

Trijicon it is. I don't want to rely on batteries when the zombies come, man.

TrebMaxx 04-29-2011 01:49 PM

Can't go wrong with Trijicon. I also have the green dot set up on my Para Hi-Cap .45.

I'm going to the gunshop tonight to grab a couple 30 round mags for my trip to the range tomorrow. From what I'm hearing, Magpul is the way to go?

Yep. I've got four of them now. They aren't that expensive, either.

I'm figuring out that if it says Magpul on it, it pretty much rocks.
