Appreciation for "the movement"
 

Sorry not a poop thread.

I know a lot of people have expressed their appreciation to those responsible for the movement in motion by us fans in the stickys and that's awesome, but a lot of that gets buried. Some folks will see this as a waste of bandwidth because of that, which is fair, but imo what has been done and continues to be done moving forward is worth a place to just say thanks.

pr_capone started it all and continues as the driving force. I'm not sure he even knew the impact his actions were going to have in the beginning.

Marty Mac Ver 2.0 is taking the ball and running.

GoChiefs has been working on a video that is said to be epic (with the help of others I believe)

As a Chiefs fan who isn't local to the KC area anymore but is just as sick and tired of the state of the team over the last several years it's inspiring to see the best fans on earth not only say enough is enough, but actually put their actions and efforts where their mouth is (and money).This may end up not only being the greatest fan movement of all time but may actually help bring change in the end.

I don't have the extra funds to help right now but seeing the banner, the media coverage, the action taking place is just as satisfying to me as it is to you all who are donating and working to make this cause happen.

So thank you for taking it upon yourselves to make a difference. All of us "true Chiefs fans" are following along and cheering it on. It's great to see. Those who don't get it are part of the problem.

I know I left people out so feel free to name names. All this effort deserves our thanks, appreciation and praise.

Let's not pat ourselves on the back just yet. Everyone involved with SOC has done a great job so far, but there's work left to do. Keep at it!

I can confirm the video is amazing but it's a little bit bigger than that. A Nashville based Chiefs fan wrote a song and performs it, Clay put his video twist on it which is pure genius but this is the artist's baby. Hope to have it up tomorrow if everything goes smoothly tonight.

It's a SOC anthem. Local media is involved. It's done well. Professional singer, professional writer, amateur/stupid co-writer, professionally produced, amateur/stupid co-produced, and some other stuff. Hopefully it will blow up. Clay did a really nice job putting his twist on it. I wish I could show it now but the current video is using the rough cut and isn't ready. We don't want that one going viral. Heh.

Cool. You don't need to keep to keep undermining yourself though. We all appreciate your work and recognize it.

Nah - I'm not musically talented necessarily. I was only hanging out because there were a couple of elements I wanted done my way. But I don't have any idea what I'm doing.

Not a chiefs fan myself but am incredibly impressed by the SOC movement.
