So instead of drafting the most sure thing in the draft, we should trade for a mediocre stopgap and draft a guy who will be a huge prospect and probably won't make it anyways putting us back in the same position we are in now 3-4 years from now. BRILLIANT

Who is the sure thing in this draft?

Is it the guy who might be the best tackle (but might be the third-best?)

The DT who can't rush the passer who has a heart problem?

The CB whose upside tops out as a good No. 2 CB?

A left guard?

Well yea, because there can't be a deal until the 12th. In no way means this isn't happening.

For all we know the Chiefs let this leak to help with moving the #1 pick, and the 49ers are denying it because they still want offers.

Hey just stating facts the belief you have to draft your qb isn't allways true.

Trust me I love geno smith I want them to take him I'm just reacting to Alex smith.

I'm not as strong bout Tyler Wilson after watching senior bowl and combine as I once was.

I like EJ Manuel with some coaching

I'm still all for Geno smith

Look I want geno I'm just preparing for smith.

I'm cool with it as long as he has an eventual challenge. I was never a fan of not giving cassel any real competition for four years.

I am smart I want geno but be serrious if we make this trade u really think we are drafting geno? Ok dack if we make this trade let me ask u which qb do u want in this draft.
