Didn't know Mark Buehrle was such a Chiefs fan
 

It made sense after looking him up. Born and raised in St. Charles, Missouri.
Next home game he pitches I'll be sure to wear some Chiefs gear.

I knew this...he pitched in the minors in a city 15 miles from my home town (Burlington). Every year, we see Bees players out and about at bars/parties. Buehrle was no different. He was a pretty nice guy... which is cool because they are usually douchebags. If memory serves me correctly, he was also an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan.

Nice. I thought he had told either myself or the group I was with about that. My friends and I are always sporting our Cardinals apparel, so that may have been the ice-breaker. My memories of Buerle are very cloudy... He just seemed like another random Burlington Bees player to me who happened to be a bit more down to Earth than the average Bees player.

Yup. Every time he's a FA the rumors about him going to St. Louis start. Thank god we've always avoided him. Jake Westbrook for 1/2 the AAV was much better.

St. Charles is near St. Louis. He grew up when the Cardinals(football) left town and the Chiefs were making the POs consistently
