McCluster the next Devin Hester? :) |
We've landed on the moon!

McCluster would have to learn how to make people miss first
that said ... our specials have been pretty shitty for awhile now. It would be nice if we would actually BLOCK somebody every now and then. |

This is a GREAT potential hire. Bears coverage units are always outstanding.

Tavon will go in the first round cause he is a stud.
He's as shifty as Dante hall. |
Chicago Bears
Brad Biggs + Follow It’s no guarantee Dave Toub will leave #Bears if he is not named head coach. But if he does, my bet is he goes ….. To Kansas City where he could rejoin forces with new Chiefs coach Andy Reid. Toub has already interviewed with the Carolina Panthers and is expected to draw more interest, likely from the Oakland Raiders. The Bears have granted him permission to meet with these other teams even though he remains under contract through 2013. Yes, Toub could be the special teams coordinator in Chicago this coming season for a new head coach. But the opportunity to work with Reid might be compelling enough for him to move. Reid gave Toub his first break in the NFL with the Philadelphia Eagles in 2001. Before that, they worked together at Missouri and UTEP. Toub has seen how a special teams coordinator in John Harbaugh has gone from Reid’s staff to become a head coach. Nothing is done but I would expect Toub to have multiple offers in hand if Phil Emery picks someone else as the head coach of the Bears. In that instance, the Bears might have to step up with the checkbook to retain Toub. 2 minutes ago |
Brad Biggs tweeted out again that he's confident Toub will reunite with Reid.

McCluster doesn't have the speed to be a returner. Dante Hall wasn't really a burner, not even close to Hester's speed, but he was fast enough to break one if the blocking was there. Whereas McCluster's a gadget player who runs a 4.6. There's three years of tape on him looking like he's running in mud. His time should be up here. But I'm sure it's not.
Ditto for Arenas as a returner. |
Tab and Hester/yes.

Dave Toub on his way out of Chicago after not making Bears short list http://wp.me/p14QSB-6U0s http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com...ach-interview/ Toub on his way out of Chicago after head coach interview Bears special teams coach interviewed for the team’s head coaching vacancy, but he isn’t on the short list for it, and won’t be hanging around to work with the next guy. According to Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune, Toub is “definitely,” leaving the Bears, and is expected to take a lateral move to the Chiefs though no announcement has been made on that front. Toub also interviewed with the Panthers for a special teams job, but is thought to be leaning toward joining Andy Reid instead. Reid gave Toub his first NFL job in Philadelphia, and the two worked together in the college ranks as well. While Toub is recognized as one of the top special teams coaches in the business, keeping him to work for the guy who beat him out for the head coaching job would have been awkward, and frankly a distraction the new coach doesn’t need. |
