Halloween
 

It's the time of year for taking the kids out, handing out candy, attending parties, and even dressing up for work for some. What are your plans? Better yet, what will you be?

I have been Davy Crockett for the last 45 years.
I put on the Coonskin hat, egg houses and soap windows.
I aint changing.

I will be a no one's home house.

I'm going to two events, one of which is themed. I can use the same costume for both shindigs, though. The themed one is superheroes/villains. Money is tight right now, so I'm trying to come up with something relatively cheap. I can pull off Cruella Deville, but I'm not sure that's villain enough. Trying to think of someway to do a Bat Girl or something, but that's difficult whenever I'm still a plus size.

Are you crazy? Cruella de Vil is a great villain.

I know, but she's a Disney villain. Since it's paired with superheroes, I would think more along the lines of Poison Ivy, Harley Quinn, etc.

You could do the little mermaid villian, she is a beefier villian.

Staying home with the kids while they answer the door this year. Then a Halloween movie marathon (pizza and beer, of course) with the whole family. :-)

I let my kids paint my face however they want. then take them out for trick or treating. I generally end up looking like a picasso portrait.
