Food everyone else loves, but you think is overrated
 

Just thinking about foods that everyone else seems to think is the greatest thing ever, and you just don't get...

Me: Nutella. I'd never tried it until today when someone at the grocery store had samples of those little snack packs. So I tried it. It's not bad, but it's certainly overrated.

So I'm trying to think of other things like this. What do you have for me?

I like sloppy joes (I make 'em differently than everyone else), but I totally agree on meatloaf.

I do, however, like Meat Loaf.

Bacon - I mean, I love it and everything pork, but people go way too far with it, like it's some measure of manliness or something. A bacon milkshake, really?

Steak.

Fried chicken.

Most booze.

A ham sandwich. I mean, I'm not a selfish dude or anything, but damn. I am not going to subject myself to that petri dish so you can fake it til you make it.

I think it's time to rename this place FoodPlanet.

Beer. It's the emperor with no clothes. Any reasonable person will conclude that it tastes bad, but no one will say it because it's considered cool to drink beer. That beverage is a complete creation of the advertising industry.
