ESPN Feature on Mark Sanchez

I know this has probably been covered somewhere but I just watched it this morning & the kid is everything you'd want your son to be.

Very Impressive.

Makes me wish we'd just draft him at #3.

the Talking Can 04-09-2009 06:49 AM

rebuilding, get over it

suds79 04-09-2009 06:54 AM

I hope everybody and their mom falls in love with this kid.

That'll only help us as a barging chip to shop that #3 pick.

Keep those ESPN features runnin. :thumb:

Is it worth the risk to TAKE Sanchez at #3 knowing he could be shopped immediately? Hell, even if no one wanted to bargain for him - it would be a win/win situation. I have been thinking about this for a couple of days now. Taking him at #3 forces other teams hands.

Oh good, I've been hoping for a thread to discuss Sanchez in.

Mecca just found a new buddy. But seriously, I agree that if everyone else loves him, it can only help us.

Or it allows us to see what we actually have in Cassel instead of just handing him the job.

Just the THOUGHT of taking Sanchez gives us several options to get more picks. Actually taking Sanchez probably removes a few of those options, but it adds additional flexibility with the existing roster, aka Cassel.

Just finished watching pro day highlights; the kid's spiral is getting sharper.

KC could take him... and then spend the next hour of the draft trying to flip to a team like the Jets or Bucs. Worst case - you have QB options.

And how awful that would be.

Mr. Krab 04-09-2009 09:45 AM

If Mark Sanchez is so great then why doesn't anyone want to trade up?
