Leatherman Wave, although their quality is starting to slip recently and I am considering finding another option.

Forgot duct tape. Gotta have that too. With all this, you are pretty prepared for minor auto inconveniences

I have a friend that had all this, plus more in his trunk. He was fixing a flat tire on the side of the road when a state trooper pulled up. He was questioned extensively about his "rape kit".ROFL

I think it was when Drew Peterson got arrested I told Mrs. Radar that if she ever wanted to completely **** my life over all she had to do was just leave without telling anyone. When the police came questioning me and searching my Jeep they'd find an ax, small shovel, rope, duct tape and downloaded maps to various secluded fishing spots along the river.

I own a wave as well, but it is about 5-6 years old. I have never had an issue. Sorry to her the quality is taking a hit. My surge is a good tool, but it is rather large for everyday use.

I was surprised I didn't find a body in there. You had everything else packed in there!

It's a bitch to carry around, but it solves all life's problems.

I use mine everyday for probably 5-6 hours of hard use. I abuse the shit out of it. I typically get about a years worth of use out of one. I have to re-sharpen the blades weekly.

The last one I bought was the
Charge (titanium)(same idea as the wave), so far in 6 months I have had the large common screwdriver break, the small micro screwdriver break, the finer side of the file wear off, the phillips bit strip out, the drywall saw bent, and the "unbreakable" blade break. Not very impressed this time around.

So do you send them in for a replacement when they take a dump on you?

SAUTO 03-01-2013 06:31 PM

Why would someone use a multi tool for 5-6 hours everyday?
