I heard Nick Athan hired Phil to be head coach of the Chiefs next year.

Unless the Chiefs implode over the next four weeks, I think Vermeil will return.

And if we hired someone like Butch Davis, you can be sure he'd have absolutely no say on offense. No way do we let someone like him ticker with it.

I'm not going to bash Phil, cause I think he is a good guy. But until Athan improves I have no problem slamming him.

It's not Phil's fault Nick hired him to become head coach.

Hopefully Phil keeps the offense intact.

Based on the draft picks alone of the Butch Davis era in Cleveland, I would not want him in KC. The man can clearly not draft worth a damn.....well come to think of it, he might fit right in....
