That's what happens when you completely blow out horrible teams like TTU. Wisconsin has had like seven of those types of games against worse teams than Texas Tech (as hard as that is to believe considering the team we watched last night), hence their inflated ranking.

I wouldn't take too much away from that game last night. Texas Tech was absolute garbage. It was like watching a preseason game.

Wisconsin is always up there. Their style of play seems to skew the stats.

I hate it. Dribble around until the shot clock is under 10 seconds. Ugly version of hoops. Didn't matter in the end as KU took charge in this game.

Of course there is a lot of season left to be played, but I never thought KU would be worse than a #3 or 4 seed. Seems people always want to believe KU is worse than they are. Self is too good a coach to allow that. He's got some talent. May not be as deep, but this team is talented. I absolutely love the fact that Releford and Withey have really stepped up this year. I also see Young and Wesley coming along and improving, albeit slowly. Good stuff.

Tech played very hard the first 15 minutes of the game. In fact I was a bit worried... After the third technical (and ejection) it really felt like the air was let out of their tires.

I didn't see it. They had 3 Ts in the game. And TT absolutely quit with 12 minutes left. That team was shit.

Gillespie's aTm teams were tough. This team had no toughness. No discipline on either end of the floor. This looked nothing like aTm teams billy coached.

Wisconsin may be a type of team that is exaggerated by Kenpom due to the way they value possessions and slow the game down immensely. I wouldn't put KU as the same type of ugly team. TBH, I think this KU team has a ton of holes. All it takes is TROB to go into foul trouble and we are done, that is why I don't have a huge problem with him being a shitty defender this year just standing there with his arms up and ppl just driving by him constantly. He's too valuable on the offensive end and for rebounding.
