It's a Q. I showed it to a guy I work with a few months ago and we'll probably end up buying some for the shop at some point.

BlackHelicopters 05-08-2013 10:25 AM

Would like to know more.

I was thinking they could coat floors and have it push the water to designated areas, perhaps to a drain. So many possibilities.

If real you could make fresh water at an insane rate...

My only concern is durability. How tough is it? Can it stand up to being scuffed? Soft materials durability? They don't say anything about longevity and reapplication.

Yeah I'm sure they're working out issues like that. I've been told it will be ready for the public in 2 years. Even if you had to recoat something every week or two, think how much longevity you could add to a pair of shoes or boots with this stuff?

from the site:

2. How long will Ultra-Ever Dry coating last?
Answer: The SE 7.6.110 formula’s longevity in use is susceptible to environmental conditions (UV / abrasion). This coating will generally last 2-8 months in direct sunlight and outdoor conditions before recoating of the top coat would be required. When used in indoor or covered applications outdoors, the SE 7.6.110 coating should last for a year or more. Other formulas are being added to our product line that can provide years of useful life before any recoat is needed.

Is it safe to spray on teh groin so I don't have to shower after a gusher?...

COchief 05-08-2013 11:55 AM

Normally I rage hard when people post youtube vids without any description of what we're supposed to be watching. However, that product is absolutely amazing and I want that crap sprayed on my vehicle immediately. Weird that they didn't include any auto type demonstrations, seems to me that would be a massive market for them.

Rausch 05-08-2013 11:56 AM

Wait, so this $3it is like spray on condom, right?...

No market.

Wears off quickly, very expensive, and lots of toxic fumes.
