I'll be at the New York ComiCon this Oct. A friend of mine has two new books coming out and they'll be debuting at the Con.

My daughter brought a book back from the last one she went to. It was pretty good. It was "The Kingdom" by John R. Marby. I enjoyed it, well written and original. I'll be looking for more books by the guy.

That was Dragon*Con 2003, when they had a guy who was debuting a new comic about strippers. So, he hired a number of "ladies" to help him man his booth.

It was rather popular . . . however since he was directly across from two artists who drew for Archie comics, he definitely impacted their sales for the day. Not to mention pissing off the fire marshall, because people couldn't move down that aisle at all.

The rest of the con, they moved his booth to a more Private part of the show.
