Carradine's problem is health. He's recovering from an ACL tear in January. He'll almost certainly start out the season PUP. And while the NFL has a pretty good track record of getting ACL victims back to 100%, you can't ever be sure that's what you'll get.

Huge upper body, smallish legs. I don't think he's going to give you the right push out of a 34.
He also racked up his sacks as teams doubled up on Bjoern Werner a ton and that Florida State had perhaps the best secondary in college football. A lot of those sacks were coverage sacks which isn't going to happen as much at the next level.
I don't think he gives you anything that you don't already have in Allen Bailey and probably doesn't have the functional strength that Bailey does. A bit of a waste of a pick considering the personnel and system the Chiefs have. |
