So far I've only gotten to open one of my presents. I think the wife was worries that her family might think me a lunatic for putting this on my wish list.

The knife is made by Smith & Wesson (model: CKSURG). It is 17 inches long, made of 440C steel, and is full tang (the metal extends all the way through the handle).

I'm glad we buried the hatchet. We did bury the hatchet right?

Because all I've opened so far are plaid pajama pants and they aren't going to do well against the knife.

Camping, hunting, and fighting the zombie horde. I have a Kershaw assisted open knife for EDC. This will spend 99% of its life in my footlocker.

I don't think they'd mind a quick show and tell but I'm sure they'd frown on my walking in with it strapped to my leg. LOL
