Clayton Kershaw is 3 outs from a no-hitter

On MLB Network now. You don't get many chances to see it happen live, and Vin Scully is calling the game. Just a heads up.

Discuss Thrower 06-18-2014 10:58 PM

I'm thinking about trading him and Matt Adams for Giancarlo.

KChiefs1 06-18-2014 11:00 PM

Should be a perfect game but Hanley Ramirez made an error.

Strongside 06-18-2014 11:05 PM

On ESPN now also.

kcxiv 06-18-2014 11:05 PM

2 outs to go

Strongside 06-18-2014 11:06 PM

1 to go.

kcxiv 06-18-2014 11:06 PM

holy shit 1 out to go

SPchief 06-18-2014 11:06 PM

He's thrown one hell of a game

SPchief 06-18-2014 11:08 PM

How relaxed he is is amazing

kcxiv 06-18-2014 11:09 PM

**** yes! all the greats get em!

Strongside 06-18-2014 11:09 PM

As a baseball fan, that's just awesome. Good for him.

SPchief 06-18-2014 11:10 PM

Greinke not out there celebrating is kinda weird

KChiefs1 06-18-2014 11:18 PM

15 K's
0 BB

kcxiv 06-18-2014 11:21 PM

2nd highest strike out total in a no hitter. First one is obvious, Nolan Ryan with 16. With So many K's he only threw 106 pitches, insane.

HoneyBadger 06-18-2014 11:30 PM

How bad do you think Hanley feels for that error.

Probably bad. But he shouldn't. Unless he was not trying hard enough.

had nothing to do with effort. had all to do with nerves and he rushed it a bit, it was kind of a slow grounder.

WhawhaWhat 06-19-2014 07:09 AM

Kershaw should be pitching at the K next week, Monday I believe.

Hanley needs to move to Third Base. He has been a defensive liability all year (and last.)

Reaper16 06-19-2014 12:00 PM

Going by game score, that was the 2nd best pitching performance of ALL TIME, second only to Kerry Wood's infamous 20 strikeout game. Wood gave up one hit that game, so you could make the argument that this was THE best game ever pitched.

He's moving next year with Guerrero gets called up! He shouldnt have been in the game anyways up 8-0 in the 7th with Kersaw throwing a perfect game in the 7th anyways. The day before he took a bad hop off his throwing hand and had to come out of the previous game. As bad as Hanley is on defense, that was on Mattingly as well.

kcxiv 07-10-2014 09:29 PM

41 innings and has a 1 hitter going through 5 innings. lol Dude is ****ing insane right now.

teedubya 07-10-2014 09:37 PM

Every time I think of him, I think of Luke Hochevar.

like i told another Royals fan! Dont even think about it that way, because he's in his 7th year in the Majors, he would have been a Dodger by now anyways!

Prison Bitch 07-10-2014 09:40 PM

Probably a Texas Ranger.

kcxiv 07-10-2014 09:45 PM

ahh, it ends at 41! lol

Ahh, nice! We would have traded him away in 2012 for some prospects!!

88TG88 07-10-2014 10:06 PM

41 innings is only good enough for third best in Dodger history.

Thats insane

Nah. That hit was weak-ass contact, and that Houston lineup was no mother****in' joke.

Mojo Rising 07-10-2014 11:27 PM

When Orel took the MLB record from Dandy Don Drysedale, DDD was the Dodgers announcer. Orel was the radio announcer for Clayton's run.

Only thing better to stay 1 game ahead of the Giants is leaving my hose on in the pool while it overflows into the drain. What a sound. Thanks for the water NO Cal!!!

kcxiv 07-10-2014 11:32 PM

11-2 126 Ks in 96 ip .83 whip 1st in the league 1.78 era 1st in the league. Also, 13 walks all season. That's just insane.

We would of Hochevared him, and Luke would of been a stud elsewhere. We suck at developing a lot of talent. I think they hang with Belly too much..

Granted that was a horrible call by Milwaukee.

Clayton MVP and Cy Young this year

Even if he doesnt get the dp, that was still a ****ing good play! I dont think it was all that horrible of a call, its a close game, suicide squeeze is ok to call if your player can bunt on the ground.

Are you watching the game? They tried the same thing right before that play and he fouled it away. You should only try a suicide if it's unexpected, even if he got it down weeks would've been out at home.

L.A. Chieffan 08-10-2014 02:41 PM

Kershaw with the RBI too, the guy can do everything!

lewdog 08-10-2014 02:44 PM

Kershaw is my favorite pitcher. Too bad he plays for The Los Angeles Yankees of LA.
