Awww man my wife makes that its yummy stuff. You have a Filipino running around there somewhere?

My wife asked me to ask you if thats Three Ladies Jasmine rice? If not she is going to scold you. Her fathers farm grows it for the Thailand Rice Co.

She also told me to tell you the Adobo goes over the bed of rice :). Traditionally eaten with fingers :D

It's Blue Ribbon rice, I will throw that shit away and get some TLJ. **** Blue Ribbon. Yeah I like my food seperate lol, I mix as I go. I wanted extra sauce so the finger thing would not have worked.

Please tell me your wife doesn't eat balut?

Simply Red 06-16-2014 08:35 PM

Hey bud - try roasting your baby broccoli in the oven - tossed in olive-oil w. salt and pepper.

About 18 mins or so - if that - just check it. Use a sheet pan.

It's really tasty this way.

I just steamed it with minced garlic. I still have some left, I'll give it a try.

She has and laughs at me because I wont. I wont even let her near me when she does. Filipinas throw incredible food parties and bring dishes from different regions some of it is just incredible and some a little to down home for me. They always tease us about balut they love it.

The make a desert with a multi colored tapioca. When cooked its about the size of a small marble and the color of the rainbow. It looks scary but is delicious she is off to work now or id ask her what it is.

There's no way I would attempt to try balut. A Filipino coworker brought a few to work and some of the guys tried it. It was awful, they ate the whole beak and you hear the cracking lol.
