Just wanted to pop in and say that it feels good that the Royals are this relevant the third week of September. Been a long, long time that I've been this fired up about baseball this time of year.

The biggest gift would be the Astros somehow finding a way to win tonight.

I personally want TB to beat TEX, but either one carries something of a positive whether it puts another spot in play or brings TEX down as they come to KC.

I'm really not worried about the Yankees or Orioles. If they get hot and run the table, they deserve it. Well not the Yankees because they're playing with a tainted 3B, but that's another story.

Here it is Chiefs football day and earlier a friend and I were talking on the phone and I'm on Yahoo Sports looking up the other wild card team's schedules.Feels good to be doing so too!

Fun to not play today. Seriously, the last couple weeks I've watched every single game (but not Sunday vs. Detroit). Sure they're on DVR but still i feel like I've been nervous for quite a while.
