Scott ***** hired by NFL Network

Scott Pioli hired BY NFL Network.

http://www.sbnation.com/nfl/2013/2/1...in-nfl-network Did not find it posted.

Work as draft analyst...

Former general managers Scott ***** and Mike Tannenbaum will join the NFL Network for their coverage leading up to the NFL Draft.

The NFL Network has added two recent general managers to their coverage team for the 2013 NFL Draft as Scott ***** and Mike Tannenbaum will provide analysis in the weeks leading up to the draft. ***** served as the general manager of the Kansas City Chiefs from 2009-2012 and Tannenbaum as the GM of the Jets from 2006-2012; both men were fired following disappointing 2012 seasons.

Despite their recent failings, both ***** and Tannenbaum have a long history evaluating talent in the NFL. ***** served in the Patriots player personnel department for nine years before taking the job in Kansas City and has worked in NFL front offices since 1992. He has won the NFL Executive of the Year Award from numerous organizations, including most recently in 2010 from both Pro Football Weekly and Sports Illustrated. Tannenbaum had served in the Jets front office since 1997, working his way up to general manager.
Both the Chiefs and Jets experienced significant problems at the quarterback position in 2012, problems many fans blame on the general managers and that contributed to the two men losing their jobs.

You own Nfl network or something?

Shogun 02-18-2013 07:54 PM

I'd like to hear who we should draft. Joeckel probably.

notorious 02-18-2013 07:55 PM

All NFL GM's will be doing the Constanza on every suggestion Pioli graces us with.

Phobia 02-18-2013 07:56 PM

I guess I'll be watching ESPN's coverage rather than NFL Network's.

Thanks to somone it is changed. Tx.

Huh. Put me in the mildly suprised catagory that he didn't go running back to Belichick or go hiding in Dimitroff's shadow.

I can't wait to hear who he would have picked as the GM of the Chiefs. It will be interesting to follow their career and see if they bust as well.

Knowing what we know about him now, there is no way our pick wouldn't have been either Joeckel or Star, agreed?

O.city 02-18-2013 09:15 PM

He wasn't going to keep Albert or Bowe, likely take Joeckel at 1, and probably Glennon in the second.

wazu 02-18-2013 11:01 PM

Possibly the most obviously terrible hire I've ever heard of. Gotta be some connection through his father-in-law.

Chiefshrink 02-18-2013 11:11 PM

What ? The Pats didn't want him and neither does any other NFL team ?

teedubya 02-18-2013 11:24 PM

He has to work for someone else... and if he wants to keep this job, he's actually going to have to finally do some talent evaluation. LOL

Frazod 02-18-2013 11:26 PM

Perhaps they'll snag Greg Robinson for detailed analysis of defensive picks. LMAO

Dante84 02-18-2013 11:29 PM

**** Scott.

'Hamas' Jenkins 02-18-2013 11:31 PM

The best part of this is the preposterous hypocrisy given Pioli's open antipathy towards the media. Same as his shitbag father-in-law: deride the media at every opportunity, then suckle the teat when you can't hack it in your actual profession.

I hope he wakes up with a scorpion in his ass.

Hammock Parties 02-18-2013 11:32 PM

Yep. What a pile of shit. And it warms my soul because I KNOW it chaps his ass to work for the bad guys.

The most gratifying thing about this is that he is so bad he can't get another job in the league. Awesome. All of those reports saying he'd catch on anywhere in the league because he is so "well respected around the league." **** that bitch.

He's gttting paid millions from the Chiefs, then he's gtting paid by the NFL Network on top of that. Why would he go right back into working 20 hour days, when he can sit back n relax n rake in millions.

Because that's what committed people do. It's real damn tough to get back into football after taking a year off. It's hard to get back to anything after taking a year off.

But yeah. If you're a Driven individual you do it. That's just what people do. It's becoming more and more obvious that he's a worthless pile of **** riding belicheats coat tails.

He's been doing it for the bettr part of what 20 years. Its ok to take some time off. Maybe he did get offers n said, naw im taking a year off. I know everyone wants to just keep kicking him and you know what, so do it, but i also understand that its alot of pressure especially when you ****ed up as bad as he did and watch some dude blow his head off in front of your face.

It has nothing to do with not being driven, its being a human and everyone needs a break sooner or later. If not, its going to catch up to you in other ways.

You mean the empty baggie with cocaine residue. Irvin's not dropping that Peruvian Flake in the stairwell unless he's dropping it right up his nose holes...

It will be intereting to see what his take is on who the Chiefs should draft.
All you have to do is do the opposite of what he thinks

Pasta Little Brioni 02-19-2013 07:37 AM

Millen and Pioli hired by the "networks" and we are supposed to defer to their opinions cause we never done it and stuff

AdumbGuy 02-19-2013 08:32 AM

NFL network guy: So, Pioli, many think the chiefs are going to draft Geno Smith 1st overall after you tried to convince everybody that Casshole was a QB and not just your lover last year. Your thoughts?

Pioli: I wouldn't draft Geno at all. I'd pick Tyrann Mathieu first overall. Not only can he return kicks, but he can also play nickel. Value!

He a crafty one this Scott fellow. I'm sure he'll always word things in just the right way so that when his clear-as-day dumb picks are a bust, he'll say something along the lines of, "that's why I offered the caveat of............" and move on to busting the chops of some older person who didn't pick up the gum wrapper he dropped.

**** Scott and everything close to him! I'd pay top coin to have the NFLN camera guys to always show his worst sides from the worst angles! And accentuate his small head on his fat ass!

God I hate that useless mother****er! God he's an ass ****ing hole!

wazu 02-19-2013 08:39 AM

You know, if Scott really wants revenge on the fans, he should adamantly make the case that the Chiefs should take Geno #1.

Can't believe the NFL Network hired the biggest fraud in the league.

The one positive thing is that his "analysis" of draft prospects will be comedy gold.

GloryDayz 02-19-2013 09:11 AM

And the really funny part is that you know somebody from the NFL, and perhaps the NFLN, is reading CP.

I know many don't think they have time, but we've had plenty of evidence to the contrary. And I'm not saying they're going to reverse the hire, but you know at some level this tread is being talked about in some meeting today. Hell, you know Scott ego can't keep him away from this site even though he'll tell the world that he's far too busy. Yeah Scott, just remember SOC, it started here...

LOL Scott, you can't hide! You may keep getting hired in this entertainment venue, but the world knows who you are...

Scott, enjoy the read you fat ****ing coward piece of shit! And you suck at your job! Just know this, your kids know it too. Yeah, they occasionally sit at a table with you, and while you're spewing crap from your pie-hole, they're looking at you, but they're really not listening, they're thinking, "God he's dumb." Then they just tell you what you want to hear... Even they laugh at you Scott, just like the rest of the NFL community, think about it...
