Ya, and at this point I think those who said Carr is better than Routt need to siddown. They are different players. Routt has been pretty good imo.

Nice jinx.

Rout is an appropriate name. Is it ok to cry?

Rain Man 10-14-2012 04:08 PM

I didn't think Routt played badly today. The Tampa receivers made some great catches amidst very good coverage.

WilliamTheIrish 10-14-2012 05:11 PM

DishRoutt wasn't bad today. Mike Williams made a play.

Overall, Routt sucks balls. He was a bad pickup. It's not like the entire world didn't watch him suck balls with the Raiders. The entire NFL did watch, but our shrewd GM knew he would be = to Carr for < $.

I hate the MF'er. I hate the 53 man roster, the practice squad, the entire front office, the owner, Volume Services, and the volunteers who take tickets.

BigMeatballDave 10-14-2012 05:18 PM

There are MUCH bigger issues than him.

Micjones 10-14-2012 05:24 PM

Routt wasn't bad today. He was in great position on both of the big pass plays he surrendered. Sometimes a Wide Receiver just makes a great play. Big plays aren't always the result of a defensive breakdown.

They pay the Bucs too, you know?

Those were two plays where the receivers had great concentration and hauled a ball in despite excellent coverage. Can't blame him for that.

Hammock Parties 10-14-2012 05:30 PM

Routt got beat, period. He didn't make the play.

Looking forward to his 80th ranking on PFF this week.

WilliamTheIrish 10-14-2012 05:32 PM

I'm not talking about just today.

Taking into account Routt's career, he sucks. Simple as that fellas.

I suppose Carr would have made all of those play's right? Look, the team sucks, but single out the putrid performers, not the one's that actually were in position and played hard, but were beat by lucky bounces.

the Talking Can 10-14-2012 05:34 PM

he got his ass beat today repeatedly, and if freeman was more accurate it would have been worse

but he is cheap, so there's that...

Do you remember Carr getting beat on plays like those?

Nope.

Pasta Little Brioni 10-14-2012 05:45 PM

Dallas can't stop shit either.

Because there's no such thing as a Wide Receiver hauling in a ball despite great coverage. Big plays only happen when a defender makes a mistake. Great job.

TheGuardian 10-14-2012 05:47 PM

Carr's been getting beat in Dallas too. Don't care what any "pff" grade he's been given. Dallas fans aren't happy with him right now. He got beat on the last 2 games.
