Kevin Hogan came in and played for the Browns today
 

The Browns initially planned to use Hogan just in read-option packages against Cincinnati, but when Cody Kessler left with a concussion with 7:27 left in the first half, Hogan took over. He followed Robert Griffin III, Josh McCown, Kessler, Terrelle Pryor and Charlie Whitehurst at the position.

Hogan played valiantly, finishing with 104 yards rushing and 100 passing. But he also had two interceptions and a rating of 26.4.

And a crazy touchdown run.

Dorsey did the right thing cutting him. I thought it was a good risk drafting him for depth, we were wrong. Oh well.

Any word on Keivarae Russell?

I actually checked...no stats.

I watched the highlight of him doing the most awkward Steve Young impersonation ever for that touchdown... good for him

So no Marcus Cooper flash of brilliance?
Glad we picked up Ware from Seattle it eases any roster blunder we make on those other prospects

If I heard correctly today, this is the SIXTH QB the Browns have used already this year!

The Chiefs are so strong that they're cutting starting quarterbacks.

Just goes to show that over drafting qbs is as good as not drafting any at all?
