Will the turmoil haunt us during the season?
I'm talking about the Jared Allen and Trent Green situations, which are multifaceted. I think the issues will hurt us. I've heard a former player say that before the season started, he could eliminate any team from Super Bowl contention that was dealing with internal issues such as these. We're not a Super Bowl contender, but I don't see much chemistry and unity on the team right now.

I don't see the Chiefs having any team unity until King Carl is finally gone. Too many players (and fans) hate him too much.
No. Not one damn bit.
I have confidence the situation will have resolved itself by training camp, so it will not affect the team.
I thought more people would have an opinion about this.
Its everyday BS in proffesional sports..so no .....
There's our excuse! **** yes!
Maybe if Pink Flamingos were our mascot
We're going to suck anyway.

This kind of stuff was pretty standard pre-Vermeil. It hurt the team then and I think it will hurt them now. I think it will also distract the coaches, didn't someone say the Herm blew up at a reporter today?
I think we definitely got TYNES out of our system yesterday...so we'll be fine!
good lord no
think of all the good teams that have been FILLLED with "drama" problem negotiations are the RULE not the exceptions...but for some reason Chiefs fans act like this has never happened before... drama is for fans, business is for players... (like my htismage-esque use of capitals?) |

I think the only thing that would hurt would be how Green is dealt with. He was the leader of the team and now he's just hanging out, taking reps away from your future QB. Your FO needs to do something with him.

Yeah I posted that on the other thread. Herm went off on this reporter Bobby Knight style. Heard it from KK today about hour 1/2 ago on 810. |
