Second-Round NFL Mock; The Chiefs Select....

http://www.rotoworld.com/articles/nf...-nfl-mock?pg=3

55: Chiefs: Dontay Moch, linebacker, Nevada.

Moch isn't just a workout freak. He was the 2009 WAC Defensive Player of the Year, before narrowly losing out to the aforementioned Carter as a senior. Moch could make franchise player Tamba Hali that much more dangerous.

Thoughts? Y/N/Could live with it?

It would depend on who else is available, but a 6'2" 250lb guy who can run a 4.4 40yrd dash is always worth a look

I would rather have the Nevada quarterback.. but I imagine he is already gone in that mock?

EDIT: Alot of the good talent is off the board quick in that mock. I would be fidgeting and thinking of trading up if I was Pioli in that mock. Alot of good WRs still (Hankerson) available and Jones are still there. Still some OT available as well.

Works for me.

Looking at the players that are selected after him in this mock, this is a good selection.

Really, given what's available, if Pioli could make another trade, that would be the best course of action.

But again, looking at what's there after that pick, a trade would almost be impossible.

Never know. Tons of stupid GMs that take reaches like James Carpenter.

Please god no, I can't take two man crushes in one draft. Save my butthole and pass on Moch. FOR THE LOVE OF GOD

If Denver can grab Austin and Rudolph in R2... I think I'll be pleased.

I've heard good things about Austin... dunno how much of a drop he is from Marcel, but I'll leave it up to the experts around here to inform me. :thumb:

Regarding the TE.... if they can get him, the dude is huge and a definite need.

I think I'd be more pissed if you guys took Paea over Austin.

Rudolph is going to be a damn good TE. I know....I've watched him his entire college career.

Yeah, I've read good things about both DTs... Austin seems to be ranked higher more often, but we'll see.

IIRC, Moch was a monster when they played against MU. The guy is quick off the edge and has a good motor.
