Has anyone ever been to a live players show
 

810 is doing one down the street tonight with Justin Houston. I'd like to be able to shake his hand. Does anyone know are the players usually accessible? Is it worth my time?

I used to go to these events when I was obligated. Haven't been since. It all depends on the player himself and the host. They're not thrilled about doing autographs unless it's for a kid or a charity item but you might have a chance to shake his hand and spend a couple of moments chatting. These things usually have a regular following of superfans you'll have to battle through.
