In that order.

Order it spicy. Their spicy chicken is legit. Eat a biscuit. Even if you don't feel like it. Some folks really dig their red beans and rice.

I'm so torn on the sides. There's quite a few that look really good.

Not really a mashed potato fan but the cajun take sounds interesting.

The Sides that look appealing. In no particular order. We will have biscuits for sure.

Mac N Cheese
Jambalaya
(Maybe) the Mashed Potatoes

Seriously, Popeye's sides are the best in my opinion. Don't skimp on the sides. Their Cajun mashed potatoes are one of my favorite side dishes ever.

It punches me in the dick every single day that my town doesnt have a Popeyes

Thats how good they are... yet all my town ever does is add yet another slapdick pizza joint :shake:

I've eaten at Popeyes twice in my life, both in the last three months.

Maybe it's the locations but I found it to be way overpriced and very underwhelming.

The red beans and rice and jumbalaya were garbage. Cajun fries were meh. The Cajun mashed potatoes weren't bad. I'm not a bread guy so I passed in the biscuit.

As for the main dishes, the chicken strips were mostly breading, the shrimp lame and their legs, wings and breast just meh. Without their Blackened Ranch, every thing was just bland.

I'll never go back.

Back to the drawing board I guess.

But done right, Popeyes is the shit... the first car dealership I ever worked for ordered a feast of basically all they have from them almost every saturday
