Black Keys older stuff had a def blues vibe to it...Your touch...
Led Zepplin had nice blues songs.

Been listening to it all day long.

I don't know much about The Black Keys, but I bought Thickfreakness for my wife as she's a fan, and I enjoy the hell out of it. The recording technique used makes it sound thick as ****.

Originally from Houston, married to A. Whitney Brown, and one of the greatest blues artists you've probably never heard of, Carolyn Wonderland! I've seen her live twice and she puts on one hell of a show.


Both Hamilton and Carolyn make it up to Kansas City every now and then. They've both played shows at the Grand Emporium, and BB's Lawnside BBQ. Check them out if you can.
