Well if they absolutely feel obligated to draft a Left Tackle (blarg), I'd prefer they draft Fisher over Jockstrap.

Bucky Brooks was one of the smartest draft analysts in the industry back when he was one of the earliest guys mocking Geno Smith to the Chiefs. Now he's chopped liver, just like Mike Mayock.

Anyone mocking Geno to the Chiefs at this point is pissing into the wind and denying the obvious moves that the organization has made.

However, two guards in the top-10 is beyond absurd and immediately removes any credibility of the mocker.

Yeah, I didn't mean for that post to look like it was a response to yours. After reading yours, it reminded me that Bucky was one of the guys the Geno fans were hailing when he was one of the few having Geno going 1.1.

If Mike Mayock had his way, the Chiefs would have a roster of Eugene Monroe, Russell Okung, Bryan Bulaga, and (probably) Luke Joeckel.

He's NEVER had credibility. Who are the people who said Mayock was any good prior to this?

I think the focus on Bucky Brooks was mainly because BlackBob pointed to him as a credible source backing up Bob's assertion that Geno wasn't worth a 1st overall pick (Brooks initially mocked Joeckel to KC). Then Brooks changed his mock to Geno #1 and hilarity ensued.

I haven't really seen any "Bucky is awesome" posts.

Which draft analyst do you think is the best, now that Bucky is out of the picture?

I'm not saying you're wrong, but Bucky's 1st mock in this series (this one is 6.0) had Geno Smith going to the Chiefs.

Well, I could be wrong. I don't actually think it was a mock but more of a "poll the experts" type of thing. It was really early on. I would go back and search but that would expose me to BlackBob's stupidity again so I won't.

I still like Bucky just fine. Guys will put out stupid mocks. It happens.
