Of course, these things are always fluid, so he could sign on today. :D

That would be cool.

Google sent a map crew out there awhile ago so you can do the street view tour, it's kinda interesting.

Rewatched the Daniel Craig trilogy. Casino Royale was good, Quantum of Solace kinda sucked, and Skyfall is still ****ing incredible. What a great film.

Dayze 10-30-2013 11:41 PM

agree. as a 007 movie geek, Craig is my favorite Bond. Skyfall was incredible.

Hammock Parties 10-30-2013 11:55 PM

Skyfall has to be the best third movie in a trilogy I've ever seen.

That's high praise coming from someone who just rewatched Return of the Jedi for probably the 20th time today.

Dayze 10-30-2013 11:56 PM

Skyfall threw me for a loop right from the get go. ....and the ending.
I almost cried. lol.

ThaVirus 10-31-2013 12:27 AM

Casino Royale is my favorite. I can't believe I fell asleep during that one the first time I watched it.

I own Quantum of Solace and it's a good one to pop in every few months.

I thought Skyfall was a great ending.. Or beginning?

I do not understand your taste in movies, Skyfall has just as many if not more plot holes than Into Darkness.

(I enjoyed both of the movies okay upon seeing them in theaters, but I haven't given either a second viewing).

Frazod 10-31-2013 09:50 AM

Quantum of Solace should have been good, but it was ruined by the twitchy-ass ADD director.

QoS was a giant turd. Worse than some of the bad 80s Bond flicks.

I wouldn't go that far, but I certainly never want to see it again. The Roger Moore Bond movies are absolutely awful, though.

For Your Eyes Only being the lone exception.

Great plot, great villain, Greece, Italy, Topol, etc.

We need more (o)(o)7! When's the next supposed to come out? I will Craig has been a great Bond, but for me Connery is still #1. Craig just doesn't have the aura of 'I could kill every man in this room and have every women' that Connery projected.

But neither did Lazanby, Moore or Dalton.

Brosnan would most certainly have banged every chick in the room but he was given shit scripts with lame action segments. I think he could have pulled off Craig's trilogy with ease.

That said, Craig has been phenomenal, IMO.

Disagree. I'm on record as not being a big fan of Connery, but Craig was the first Bond for me that really nailed that, especially the "kill every man in this room" bit. I'd be scare of Craig's Bond unlike any of the others.

Deberg_1990 10-31-2013 04:58 PM

Moore, Dalton and Brosnan, were obviously more debonair type Bonds, less physical.

Plot holes don't concern me. Skyfall was original and interesting and had real characters.

Into Darkness was just a ****ing ripoff with cardboard cutouts.

Dayze 10-31-2013 06:08 PM

Craig is the best Bond IMO.

ThaVirus 10-31-2013 07:14 PM

Craig's Bond seems the most capable but the least polished.

I think Brosnan had the most suave, debonair Bond look. Like, I'd honestly be worried he might **** my wife or some shit.

ThaVirus 11-12-2013 10:09 PM

Just watched this one on Netflix today.

James Bond is such a pimp.

I'm pretty sure this is my favorite all-time Bond. SO many of the others, I enjoyed a lot, but as mindless detached entertainment. Ooh, gadgets, oooooh girls, how dapper.

This one I WANTED him to win and wasn't sure how he would. And there is some of the most breathtaking imagery to go along with a rip-roaring tale.

And for any Bardem detractors, he seemed a seamless mix of Hannibal Lector, Jason Bourne and The Terminator. Sociopathy, skill and determination. DEFINITELY my favorite Bond villian.

Spoiler!

was a lone cheesy note, but was necessary to move the narrative forward.

ThaVirus 11-12-2013 10:20 PM

I think Skyfall was the best of Craig's Bonds so far with Casino Royale not too far behind it. I enjoy watching Quantom of Solace, but it's obviously not as good as the other two.

I also agree on Bardem; he was a great Bond villain. Moreso than that pansy Greene or whatever from QoS.
