bailey...let me guess...concussion

gblowfish 12-06-2012 11:01 AM

Bailey hurt his knee on the next to the last play of the Carolina game. The trainers helped him off the field.

Nope.

He needs to be replaced this offseason. Even when he's healthy, he's a liability against the run. And frankly, he's just never healthy.

We can't deal with this crap again next season, not in a position that should be fairly easy to stay relatively healthy.

Bailey to the scrap heap. Another wasted draft pick. I had some hope for the guy, physical freak. Not a good football player.

the Talking Can 12-06-2012 11:11 AM

remember when he was going to be some kind of lb/hybrid/eagle w/ lazer eyes...good times

Hammock Parties 12-06-2012 11:23 AM

Can we get BossChief in here to defend Bailey one last time? Thanks.

mcaj22 12-06-2012 11:24 AM

can they maybe spend some ****ing money for once and sign a real FS?

how about draft one in the 2nd or 3rd?

Pioli passed on a lot of good safeties the last 4 years for crappy guys like Allen Bailey and a bunch of garbage midget CBs/WRs, TEs, other crap like a first round WR that only plays 11 snaps (lol sad)

Pioli wouldn't even bother getting a backup to that position when your starter can only play 3 games per season.

Lewis was a close to a 'win' as he had on his resume for his first 2 seasons - of course he was going to ride or die with him.

Now that he has Houston he can point to as a legitimate draft coup, maybe he'll see that Lewis was just another fill-in until a legitimate starter can be found.

CoMoChief 12-06-2012 12:02 PM

Why the hell do we need a LB ?

Hootie 12-06-2012 12:03 PM

so in 4 years so far it looks like we can thank Pioli for Houston and maybe Stephenson

Meh

at least we got a potential stud LT in the 3rd round

I'm stubborn about that midget.

I still think he can be a player but won't argue with anyone who disagrees.

bevischief 12-06-2012 12:16 PM

Just lots of midgets.

Allen might be passable, though for a 2nd round pick he goddamn well better be.

Oh yeah, we also burned through 4 years of our best players' primes, some there's that.

Yeah, it's not been a good run for The Don.

He has taken shots all season long and keeps comming back. No matter what anyone thinks of his football skills he has proven to be one tough minded midget. Not even Clay can argue that the kid can't take a hit like a pro.

He's good at getting pounded like the little bitch he is.

He's the Matt Cassel of NFL wide receivers.

DLand21 12-06-2012 12:46 PM

Hate that for Bailey. Friend of mine was his high school coach.

Hammock Parties 12-06-2012 01:35 PM

This is ****ing sad.

and 11 hurries in 461 career snaps....****ing sad....

If he was switched back to rb and coached by an Andy Reid type, i agree, he could be a decent third down scatback.

SCAT-back.

Appropriate...

scho63 12-06-2012 02:33 PM

Most injured players on losing teams like the Chiefs take longer to come back and players like Suggs and Lewis of the Ravens are trying to come back this year even though they have major injures.

It is part physical and part mental.

RunKC 12-06-2012 02:59 PM

Kenny Vaccaro
Tony Jefferson
TJ McDonald
Robert Lester
Shawn Williams
Baccari "BAMF" RAMBO-This kid is the shit
Matt Elam
Eric Reid

Pioli, this is the deepest safety class in a few years, so....DRAFT ONE OF THESE BAMF'S TO REPLACE BROKEDICK LEWIS.

whoman69 12-06-2012 03:17 PM

This team is quickly losing any semblance of depth. I thought we were bad off against the Doncs.

Yeah, dont get me wrong, he can take his services on down the line in 2013, limited usefulness types like him have never done much for me.

Iowanian 12-06-2012 03:30 PM

Who else did they bring up?

With Belcher gone and now Bailey, that should open 2 spots on the roster.

ModSocks 12-06-2012 03:42 PM

Was Leon Williams the guy who was expendable and got expended?

BoneKrusher 12-06-2012 03:46 PM

Allen Bailey to IR
Didn't think he was part of the "right 53".

Did the fullback DeMarco (sp?) take Belcher's roster spot last week or did they release someone for that?

mcaj22 12-06-2012 04:15 PM

they released Bryan Kehl who was the expendable expended romeo crap quote guy

he was instantly claimed off waivers by the Redskins and actually played in their win on Sunday and had a ****ing tackle

sad.

Kehl also had a running into the kicker penalty.

G Hayworth Hicks took Kehl's spot.

A reject from the Jets. That's right - the Chiefs picked up someone who couldn't even make the Jets' terrible o-line.
