I know... perhaps this may seem as hypocrisy to some, but for many of us growing up we rooted for the Cards and Chiefs.

And talk to DaFace if you want to argue about the icon I liked the bird over the letters.

I went to the Cards-Cubs game on Sunday night. Amazing night for the game. The pre-game activities were so festive; I wish the Royals games were like that.

That's how it was for me. St. Louis didn't have a football team when I was growing up so I went west and found the Chiefs.

Eh, doesn't bother me any. But damn.... if you thought Skip was irritated by Royals threads... :)

I'm fine with changing the icon if people prefer the bird. As for adding it in general, it was by request. There are enough Cards fans around here to warrant it, I'd think. Sorry for you Royals fans who think it's blasphemous. :D

If I can figure out how to let people IGNORE threads by prefix, we'll be all set.

There are not many games as good as those. It really is tough to compare it to any other baseball rivalry.

The Royals games will get a better feel when Dayton starts to get our team together.

That's exactly how it is for me. And then I refused to jump on the Rams bandwagon.

After moving to KC, I started to follow the Royals and even cheer for them (except vs the birds). The "rivalry" between the two clubs and hatred just does not seem to make any sense to me.
