What Is Your Favorite Profanity?
 

I have a hard time deciding.

For a general insult, I love the rhythm and sound of the word "one who sucks the penis". Although it is just two nouns combined to elicit a prescribed response, those two nouns always elicit a smile from me.

For a general exclamation of disgust/anger I prefer God****. It seems like I'm upping the ante on commandment-breaking with this one, so it has additional transgressive value.

General exclamation? I go with the standard ****.

When in rage mode I'm pretty sure that is anywhere from 1/3 to 1/2 of the words I use. Othen than that I rarely cuss IRL.

I like how you can stretch them with different emphasis -- on the "F," on the drawn-out "u," on the third syllable of MFer, etc.

Plus it makes a nice modifier: "****ing shit," "that ****ing asshole," etc.

I can be very creative with it, especially during Mizzou, Chiefs and Royals games.

Your profanities frighten me.
