What's the word on the rest of the coaching staff?
 

Are they still employed, or did Clark cut them loose too?

I realize this is probably common knowledge to most of you here, but I have not seen or heard what their status is as of today.

There is no word yet to my knowledge. Obviously a new coach will hire his own people.

But given what Clark's said, I think it'll be just like Pioli... they'll be evaluated by the new coach.

Yeah it's usually a good idea to keep a bunch of guys from a previous staff that went 2-14.

The staff isn't that terrible. It gets worse as you move further up. Keep sirianni and mike Clark. Think bicknel has done well with the oline too. Other than that... Don't care.

Not one person from this offensive staff except for the oline coach should be kept.

Clark may want to go all out blitz for Greg Robinson while he has the chance.

We need a Head Coach that will tell Pioli he's making suckass decisions, and suggest a better option in order to have a winning team not only during the regular season, but also in the post-season.

I was just speculating in case Hunt made the boneheaded move of keeping Pioli as the GM.

Yes. Scott Pioli was obviously not the reason why the Patriots won 3 Superbowls. It was primarily Bill Bellacheck, not Pioli. There was no reason for the Chiefs to get Pioli in the first place. I don't care if you disagree with me, but that's truth.

Personally I think Brady is more of the Patriot way than Billicheck is.

Pioli was the hottest GM candidate at the time though.

After seeing the Chiefs fall apart 3 of the last 4 years, you could have fooled me by that.

In hindsight we can say he shouldnt have been hired. But at the time, many people were happy with the signing.

So...you are expecting Clark to own a crystal ball? Pioli was THE guy at the time. I don't blame Clark for the hire. But now that we know he's a POS, he's gotta take his lumps and fire the guy.

I just think Clark Hunt should have done a more thorough observation of Scott Pioli before hiring him since Pioli obviously was not the primary, driving force behind the Patriots' consecutive winning seasons during the first half of last decade.
