Usually the Boulevard Pale Ale is my "go to" beer. But for the 2-3 months that the Irish Ale is out, it is like my birthday every day. |

If you guys are into good beer, you'll appreciate this tip.
I got back from a trip up to New York last weekend and dropped by a place called "The Ginger Man". I stumbled upon the place by way of a suggestion from a lady at a brewpub. This place was quite incredible, they had 60+ world class beers on tap, and what was really amazing was that they served them at the correct temperature for each style. My wife had a Guinness and they even poured the shamrock in the head. By far the best "beer lover's" bar I've ever been to. From what I understand there are also Ginger Man pubs in Austin and Dallas and I think somewhere else but can't remember (memory started getting fuzzy after a few barleywines). If you are ever in the area of one of these pubs and love beer, it's definately worth the trip. Here's the website for the one I visited: http://www.gingerman-ny.com/GingerMa...GingerMan.html |
