Obviously we see something other teams didn't. We know the kid is talented when healthy. Dude's only 25 and has barely played.

If we can get him healthy and his head screwed on right, we'll have ourselves a damn good RT.

Well, this is the first of about 5 of these kinds of moves we should've made to this point, but I'm damn glad to see we've made it.

We have plenty of roster room at the moment, why not take the shotgun approach, hurl a bunch of talented youngish vets at the problem, and see who sticks? The law of averages suggests 1 or 2 of them will.

Honestly, I'd almost rather see him start the season on the PUP though. Let Richardson slog through the easier early part of the schedule and then have Gaither rested and ready to kick some ass by shortly after the bye.
