Why not Mike Sherman?
Aside from the fact that he isn't on Peterson's list, isn't Sherman a decent HC candidate? I didn't think much of him at first, but after looking at some numbers he seems pretty good.
These numbers don't include this past year where the Packers imploded. Since Edwards supporters disregard this year with the Jets because of injuries, I think it's somewhat fair to look at Sherman up to 2005. Prior to 2005: He had 5 consecutive winning seasons with Green Bay including two 12-4 seasons. He made the playoffs for 4 consecutive years. In his tenure with GB he had a 25-9 divisional record. He has a 20-4 record in games from December 1st on. Not too shabby. |
Because we don't have a young Brett Favre, we don't play in the weak NFC North of the last five years, and we don't play in the weak NFC of the last five years.
