I thought you were kidding about the combined names. Makes no difference to me, I just sometimes wonder where people come up with some of these names.

I looked it up after your post. It's one of those odd interests of mine.

Interesting.

I just think it's cool that our names have meanings other than the sounds that we identify each other with. If you think about it, the process of naming a child used to be about assigning a meaning. Like a special message to your children. Or an important declaration. The modern way of doing it is to just pick a sound that you agree with or to follow some familial naming convention.

I'll never figure out why my parents named me Dixon with a last name like Hand.

Still better than "Two Dogs ****ing".

Ah, so you're one of those people who will pick a normal name like "Eric", but then spell it a weird way like "Erykk." When people are like, "Dude, that's dumb" you tell them, "Not so. It's the Welsh spelling" they back off and all of a sudden think it's unique and awesome.

I follow you, but I'm still not sure what that looks like. Would you be comfortable posting either your son's first or second name? If not I totally understand.

I can PM it to you. I am hyper paranoid about stuff like that, so please keep it off the board, but you're pretty cool and I don't think you would do that.

Stupid rule, but I get it.

Seems like a good kid.
