I'm looking forward to more on the PlayStation 4, a competent Vita lineup, and some NHL 14 news.

definitely interested to see how Ps4 vs Xbox One shakes out. Though, i never really have time to play video games anymore, it's still really interesting to see how a huge industry gets swayed so much by new gen console releases.

NHL 13 is great... it's the longest I've ever played a sports game (even though I gave up on Madden and NCAA years ago, and just started back with NHL last year). I'm in year 5.

Pretty 'meh' on the NHL 14 previews.... just like Madden and NCAA, they've always focused on offense one year and then defense the next, so this year it's the typical "bigger hits! better fights!" hype that hopefully doesn't send it back down the road towards becoming an arcade game again.

This Ryse:Son of Rome game looks pretty bad ass.

Not gonna lie, kinda like what I saw from Titanfall. Looks kinda like COD with some Crysis elements and some mechs.

Titan Fall looks glorious. Could compete with CoD and BF. BUT since it's going to be on PC as well as 360 then there are other options while avoiding XB1. For shame.

I guess it's gonna cost 499 Euro's. UK gamers aren't very happy, the USA gets it like $200 cheaper than they do.

They probably did this so they can gouge the discount one. Probably do 300bucks but you have to buy live for 15 a month.



Question. When xbox first came out before live. We used a computer program to play halo on the Internet. It was free. Not really different as I have not seen anything about these 300k servers being used for game hosts. Nor where most of them are located.


So, why not go back to the old way? Jailbreak the system and have an outside system used for matchmaking? That is what most care about for the gamer.

No way the Ps4 is cheaper than the XB1 IMO.

There are some rumors that they will have a PS4+Vits bundle for $600 (there will be multiple SKU's). If it's legit (I'd say bullshit), it'll start out @ $399.

I'm interested in the PS4 feature to allow other players to watch you playing a game live. Normally, I imagine that this would be boring, but in a Madden/NHL league....there's potential for scheduling games and making it a real event. My NHL league members are pretty hyped for it, but I'm skeptical it will work as seamless as I've heard.

If that bundle is true I would love the Vita bundle

So based on your posts in here, the Microsoft presser was a letdown?

The MS presser was okay actually, than they said $499. It's just too much for a far too restrictive of a system.

I don't know if the Microsoft presser was a letdown... Most of the games they did show had actual gameplay and weren't just cut-scenes like I was expecting. The only letdown for me was they didn't do a Q&A but after the bad press they got the past few weeks I can hardly blame them.

They didn't do anything to make want to buy it though.
