LOL I don't believe that is a majority opinion on Chiefs Planet. Could happen!

Keep Quinn AND draft a QB in the 1st or 2nd round. I'd like to see us trade down so we aren't spending the first or second overall pick on any of this years qb's, but take a Barkley or Wilson and still have the extra picks to move around in the first or second round for talent.

You are going to need someone on the team who has at least played, preferably started. Might as well be Quinn.

CoMoChief 12-05-2012 12:56 PM

1.Geno Smith
2.Alex Smith
3.Brady Quinn

Those are the QB's I want on this roster next season.

Is this some kind of sympathy for our Chiefs team for the Belcher saga? I don't care about his stats, Quinn was good but certainly not great against the Panthers. There's absolutely no way he was the best player in the AFC this week or even close.

C'mon, guys. You can give the guy credit where credit is due. It's okay. That doesn't mean I don't think we still need to draft a franchise QB.

LOL Lol lol lol

Alex Smith will get a starting gig somewhere, and Brady Quinn will get a backup gig

Sure he was , better than Manning even. The NFL wouldn't lie about something like this.

NFL doesn't want the shitty Cheaps to get the number 1 pick. It's not good business

Buckweath 12-05-2012 01:08 PM

OK so who really thinks Quinn played better than Newton??

I think a lot of it had to do with Quinn's comments about Belcher. A lot of commentators seemed mighty impressed.

As for keeping Quinn, I would rather keep Quinn as a backup or placeholder for a 1st round QB than Alex Smith since Smith will probably take draft picks to acquire.

htismaqe 12-05-2012 01:12 PM

2013 starter right there.

Keep Quinn. Draft Geno. Keep Stanzi. Have an actual QB competition in camp, keeping in mind we are developing Geno.

Yeah, this smells like a pity award.

No kidding. Everybody, well almost everybody said Quinn was worst than Cassel.

Sad part is the coaches didn't know that Quinn was better than Cassel a long time ago.

Matty Loss was a lock for the Chiefs to get the # 1 pick this year. His head was so far buried up his ass this year with his play it was a lock for # 1.

Brady Quinn has bought himself another year in the NFL thanks to last weeks game.
