I'm sitting in class with my laptop at 8 min battery left and no charger :doh!:
Guess it'll be exclusively to the Gameday app pretty soon

I am at work watching on my phone and I really really want to leave and go to a sports bar down the road watch the last 2 innings but I am afraid of ****ing up the juju.

Get Choate up in the pen. You can't leave Wacha in there to face Alvarez as the tying run.

If Byrd gets on ahead of Pedro, you've gotta tip your cap to the rookie and go get Choate. You cannot allow Alvarez to beat you with the platoon splits he has. I know Wacha's changeup should allow him to deal with lefties better than most, but you don't **** around here.

Choate should be tossing right now just in case.

Welp...

DJ's left nut 10-07-2013 03:16 PM

Like I said - no interest whatsoever in facing Pedro as the tying run.

You'll note that Matheny didn't have anyone up in the bullpen on account of being reeruned, so had Byrd reached, that would've tied it.

Why can we not get a guy out who hits like .230 against the league?

O.city 10-07-2013 03:22 PM

Martinez? Are you ****ing kidding me?

Because we invariably throw him meat.

That said, he went down and got that ball. That's about as good a pitch as I've seen him it off us.

It wasn't a great pitch, mind you, but it was better than most of the BP fastballs we throw him.

**** YEAH!

DJ's left nut 10-07-2013 03:25 PM

HAHAHA!!

Harrison just did his best Willie Mays Hays and slid short of the bag.

Why Wacha, with the change up he has, would throw that guy anything other than said change up, is befuddling to me

Of course the biggest cardinal sin was going 3-1 to the guy

Marcellus 10-07-2013 03:26 PM

Damn Wacha has been dealing for 2 games now. We need to get a few insurance runs here.
