Agreed. I still think someday Haley is gonna make a really good head coach for someone other than Doctor Evil.

Haley is viable as an OC...

Not viable as a HC > look at beginning of last season for examples. He had the whole summer and preseason to hone the team and we get blown out big time by mediocre teams. To a decent coach this doesn't happen.

they do have the injury bug but they have the talent and depth to make up for it in most areas to remain competitive.

imagine that. drafting smart in 4 years worth of drafts.

well good job Scott Pioli you fat **** of not doing that

isnt that what has happened this season? with a new coach? with new training camp and offseason propaganda? with new draft picks? new FAs brought in?

weren't we suppose to be much more improved than whatever Haley had to work with? Werent expectations this year much higher

and we have got blown out and embarrassed much worse this season. And Haley is not a factor anymore.

So what's the constant for both seasons then? Scott Pioli's poor micromanaging. Not Haley.

It's 4 years of Pioli that's the problem not 3 years of Haley.

Palko was on this team pryer to last year and the hold out so they had plenty of opportunity to find a decent to standard back up QB let a lone one that could push Cassell for the starting job. Fail = Pioli on that and also fail = Haley as he was the HC who couldn't get this team anywhere close to improvement with what he had to work with. The Miami game was the last straw for me that was on Haley and unprepared team no matter who the quarterback was we got our ass whooped yet again.

Who is "we"? I don't know for sure, but I'd be willing to bet that Haley was begging Pioli and Clark for a new QB. And you don't need a crystal ball to determine what the answer to that question might have been.

I mean, really, did Weis leave because he hated Haley or because he knew the situation was hopeless with a talentless, permanently intrenched hack at QB?

All I do know is that Haley's been gone for nearly a year now, and things are worse now than ever before.

Were you on Mars by any chance last season?

Because there was this strike thingy with no off season, you might have heard of it, and then Dr. Evil ordered camp stretcho so none of his little toys like Matty got ouchies.

Todd Haley is not the guy you want as the face of your billion dollar franchise.

yeah i wanna see that kind of fire, his coaches should not be foot shuffleing porters

and arrowood needs something different

This team has become a turnover/penalty/minor injury machine since he left.

I will always believe that the only problem this team has had since Pioli took over was Matt Cassel.

Everything else is a byproduct.

If Pioli had supported him and continued the search for a good quarterback to give the team a shot, Haley would have had this team in the hunt every year.

No pun intended.

Chiefspants 10-04-2012 12:03 AM

I hated his shotgun draws, he was in over his head, and too arrogant to really succeed in his position. One thing that I do believe is that (outside of the 2011 opening games) he could fire the players up and get them to play 100% for almost every game. (Something that Romeo is woefully unable to accomplish.)

Pioli is definitely the problem, but I don't know, I think people are starting to romanticize Odd Todd now that we have the disaster of Romeo.

The thing is, you and others that complain of Haley's tirades often seem to be yelling your own tirades at this team just like Haley did.

When I read your posts, most of the time I visualize caps because you seem to be yelling. Not that it bothers me, really, I just see you as a hypocrite who thinks there is not, or should not be any yelling by football coaches and that is just completely wrong. I never had a football coach that did not yell at players/coaches for ****ing up. It's a very emotional game.
