Didn't end up there, the line was ridiculous. Will before I'm gone, though.

Tonight was lamb chops with roasted asparagus, and some apple sauce on the side.

We had petite sirloin and bacon-wrapped asparagus on the grill. :thumb:

These are options for you to do when you get back there:

This is probably not the kind of food you people here like but this is what I ate yesterday that I got from my local fresh fish market that were caught on the NC coast
Of course this is not real healthy food being fried like this but it sure was good , had to cook em outside in the electric skillet because fish don't fry in the kitchen...
Fresh Croakers

LOL I wish there was something in that pic for size reference. At first glance it looks like you're frying them in a wheelbarrow.

R8RFAN 04-06-2014 09:39 AM

it's just a standard size electric skillet

Probably start the grill soon and make some hot wings for the race.

Grew up (well the second half of my young life) in Va. Beach... Yup, that's some good stuff...

I was JUST talking to some folks at today's Royal's tailgate about Eastern Carolina BBQ! Yeah, it's time to get it going! I make a vinigar sauce much like Moore's, and after folks have it, with my homemade slaw on it, they ALWAYS ask for it at the next block party. I still make their local favorites, but the pulled pork NEVER has any chance of leftovers!

And I'm planning out which part of my backyard I'm going to dig-up for a pig-pickin... I've told them if they think the pulled-pork is good, just wait! I'm tempted to just go it in the driveway (just like our sit-outs!!)..

I view SBR like Ken's Blue Cheese dressing, not bad for so cheap.

I mostly stock Gates Extra Hot, Night of the Living Sauce, and two or three Bandana's selections.

Night of the Living Sauce, and SBR is what's usually in our fridge.
