Real talk: Can the Texans or the Faid come up big

and upset the Donx and can the Chiefs win out against Indy and Sandy Eggo?

I could see the Texans jumping up and biting the Donx as kinda of a spoiler. I don't think the Raiders can but wouldn't it be sweet to see the Donx drop the final two of the season? :)

Deberg_1990 12-15-2013 07:02 PM

No. Not gonna happen.

Nothing to lose and something to prove....every team with a bad record wants to knockoff a playoff team either out of the playoffs or significantly change their playoff seeding

ROYC75 12-15-2013 07:06 PM

I had a better chance of winning the Powerball last night..... FTR, I lost, didn't win.

Denver will not lose another game in the regular season.

Pablo 12-15-2013 07:06 PM

No.

Don't even set yourself up to be disappointed.

Embrace the 5 seed. And embrace the fact that if we keep playing up to this level, we will absolutely slaughter the Colts.

Slaughter.

Nope

BossChief 12-15-2013 07:07 PM

No.

Manning is gonna want to set the all time TD record for TD passes as high as he can, so that spells doom against both of those teams...unless Tonya Harding gets involved.

Yeah, but neither of those teams are good enough to sniff the donks jockstraps let alone carry them

Doubt it, but I am hopeful.

There's a big difference between Phil Rivers and Matt McGloin or Case Keenum.

It does, but not typically in the Chiefs favor. We're the 5 seed, and that's not a bad thing IMO

ClevelandBronco 12-15-2013 07:46 PM

If the Raiders can put up 31 on the Chiefs, they can do at least that against the Broncos. Nothing is over yet.

Houston would the better bet. Peyton probably took note of the Faiders' ability (or lack thereof) to cover screen passes.

I don't feel it's setting myself up for disappointment. I didn't think Denver would lose the two they did. If the colts can beat them.... I agree I'm not placing any bets on Oakland or Houston, and it would be "fairy tail" stuff. But I'm sure going to root that way.

utahchf 12-16-2013 01:29 AM

Houston/Oakland Chances

I some stats for the 2011 season indicating that 7-10 point 'dogs won 25% of the time and 11-14 point 'dogs won 20% of the time. Houston's an early 10 point favorite. So there is a close to 50/50 chance Denver could lose one of the two.

Dante84 12-16-2013 02:14 AM

I think the best we can hope for is that they beat up the broncos and leave them limping come playoff time.

AussieChiefsFan 12-16-2013 02:42 AM

The Raiders and Texans are probably the two easiest teams Denver could go up against to finish the season. I really hope it happens, but it's really, really unlikely.

Exoter175 12-16-2013 03:46 AM

I think if anybody does it, it'll be Houston, and I don't think it'll be one of those down to the wire types of games where its close, Houston will lose a game like that.

I think if Houston beats Denver, its because they just absolutely ****ing torch that denver defense and just pick apart mannings vertical game. Very unlikely it'll happen, but that's the only team I see picking them off between the two remaining games :P

Bl00dyBizkitz 12-16-2013 03:51 AM

Probably not happening.

But I still have hope. :D

KC_Connection 12-16-2013 04:08 AM

Crazier things have happened than a flawed team losing a road game in the NFL.

Gonzo 12-16-2013 05:30 AM

The Texans would need a ****ing miracle but they're the only ones with a snowballs chance in hell to do it.

Mile High Mania 12-16-2013 05:52 AM

Anything can happen...

Chiefs vs Colts
Chiefs @ Chargers

Seems to me, you better get to 2-0 in that stretch before you worry too much about what Denver does or doesn't do against the Texans and Raiders.

Yep, good luck in Cali.

Mile High Mania 12-16-2013 05:58 AM

Colts are the #4 seed right now, locked up at 9-5 with Cincy and they are the #3 seed.

Patriots are 10-4 and the #2 seed... with @ BAL and vs BUF left.

I don't know what has to happen after the tied overall records, but you know the Colts would like to move from #4 to #2 if they could and with @ KC and vs JAG remaining... they can do it.

Don't look past the Colts.

KChiefer 12-16-2013 06:07 AM

Case's case for the starting job is over. He posted a new low in QBR and is 0-8 as the starter. If Schaub gets the job back, Houston has a boxer's chance.

redshirt32 12-16-2013 06:43 AM

I just want to beat Denver in the playoffs AFC title game at Denver, Santa wrap this up for me!!!!!! JC all F day BB

Mother****erJones 12-16-2013 06:49 AM

No shot in hell. It'd be a Christmas miracle lol. Houston has the talent to pull it off but Keenum has to play out of his mind.

The Colts aren't very good. They've been getting whooped only to have made miraculous comebacks. It'll be tough in Indy.

NYE 2006. SF beats Dungver in Pile High to send us in and knock them out. I've had love for SF ever since, and am really wanting to jump on the Houston bandwagon. If OAK helps us...**** 'em still.

One thing I'm not sure any of us are remembering and I suppose it doesn't carry a bunch of weight here. However the Chiefs have only lost one road game.

What a season man!

I seriously totally am eating crow, I'd mentioned on many occasions that we'd only win six TOTAL games this season. I'm thrilled.

Uh, anyone who watches football.

On the road against a division rival fighting for a playoff spot, and without their best offensive player?

Anyone with a brain knew that game would be close.
