A couple of scientist discuss climate change:

"Hey John, Do you think there is really anything to this global warming, climate change thing?"

"Damn sure better be Jake! I'd hate to think we've been making the environment better for nothing!"

Actually, have you been outside yet? That's not snow. It's accumulated sleet.

luv 05-03-2013 07:40 AM

I retract my previous reply. A co-worker came in saying they got a little snow and not nearly as much sleet at her house. I guess it just depends which part of town you're in. South side got sleet.

The global warming can also cause the opposite effect in some places.

Global warming. Oh yeah, that didn't work out so now it is climate change.

It doesn't mean the weather will be warmer...it means the weather will be more extreme. Hence, record heat, record cold, record snow etc.

Jesus tapdancing Christ. I'd cum all over myself if a cloud that big was coming through my part of the world. Look at all that moisture!

FWIW, philfree, I got 4 inches of snow. Dad said he dumped .40" out of the gauge though. That was more than I expected.
