Hollywood tower hotel (Tower of terror)

My family and I went to Disneyland for Thanksgiving and this ride was a hoot! Has anyone here been on it? I think I heard they have one at Disneyworld thats even taller. In case you've never heard of it it's a ride where you get in an elevator that takes you up 13 stories before dropping faster than gravity.. It was dang fun! The California screaming coaster was good too. We have NO good coasters in this state. :( http://www.disneyforever.com/disneyland/dca/hpb/tot/ |
Cool hope you had a good trip.

It was a blast. I have boys 11, 12 that like me, have never been to Disneyland before. We had an absolute blast!
Hope your Thanksgiving was good too. |

Excellent, It's definitely nice to just chill too. Maybe someday they can put a halfway decent game on TV on Thanksgiving.. :spock:

I was on the one in Orlando recently. Lots of fun. It was 13 stories (well the last drop seemed to be). The Tower of Terror and a new space ride at Epcot were the most exciting.

I took my 11 & 12 year old girls to Orlando 5 years ago. They were each just barely tall enough to ride every single ride. I couldn't keep 'em off this one.

Awesome ride, MGM Studios in Orlando is cool to do at night which made this ride even better.
|
I loved Disney Land. Magic Mountain was badass too.

If you dropped an unattached, non-powered carriage from the top and rode the ride from the top, the ride would reach the bottom more quickly. A gravity assisted freefall tops out just over 100 MPH. |

Yes-I rode the one in Orlando-It was awesome! But what was even better was the Rockin Roller Coaster. That was great! Space Mountain was more of a bust than Blackledge though. All the hype I heard about it and it was slow and it jis basicially one of the most over rated rides I have ever rode. It was like an indoor zambeezee zinger!

Tower of Terror in Orlando (Disneyworld MGM) is awesome! The mrs and I went there a couple of years ago in October... the park was pretty much empty (compared to the rest of the year). We got to ride it consecutively until we tired of it :thumb:
Rockin' Rollercoaster (right across from ToT) was also excellent. The dino ride at Animal Kingdom is out-frigging-standing (warning: will scare the shit out of kids under 10) Universal is okay, but Islands of Adventure is the shiznit!! Best asmusement park I've ever been to :D |
