One year later....TO wants a new contract.

TO is ready for another payday, just one year after siging a contract with the Eagles. I guess he wants another dose of that 10 mil signing bonus he got last year.

What a piece of crap. I never want that scumbag playing for the Chiefs. I'd rather the team suck.

HemiEd 04-06-2005 07:58 PM

Yep, I agree.

Don't put this on TO - it's Rosenhaus. An agent gets paid on signing bonuses. If TO just hired him, he hasn't been paid - and is not likely to be paid for several years. Rosenhaus is the one looking for a payday, not TO.

Id still take him. At least he puts out 100% effort, unlike Moss. He would piss me off come contract time, but id love to see in him Chiefs Red.

I would rather him play because hes a stud and studs require money

Okay.:shake:

Why did TO hire a new agent? Why can't TO just say he's willing to honor his contract? Agents have always been scumbags, but this is hardly all on the agent.

This could set a dangerous precedent. I hope the Eagles tell him to piss up a rope.

He just signed a 7 year contract witha 10 Mil bonus last year! How would you feel if Holmes came looking for a new contract every year?

BIG_DADDY 04-06-2005 08:36 PM

Owens injured last year and with the way he is somebody's gonna take him out. If I were the Eagles I'd call him into the office and tell him to STFU and play. If he whines I do everything in my power to keep him from getting any incentive bonuses. Seems to me the only post season game the Eagles lost was the one he played in so it's not like he lead them to a championship.

It seems that only Chiefs fans (not all) don't think that big time players should be paid like so.

Carl and Lamar have rubbed off on some of you the wrong way.

what is a big time player worth? whatever he says he is? i guess so, as long as fans think they deserve more and more each year.

Nobody made him sign his contract. Seems he thinks so highly of himself that he doesn't have to stand by his word. The Eagles won one more playoff game then they have the past few years and he didn't play in that game so I don't see how made that much of an impact for them. He had numbers but those numbers didn't do any more for the team then the players who were they before. IMO he can't justify it.
