Rookie right-hander Denny Bautista debuts as the Royals' fifth starter in the series opener at Anaheim.

Former Royal Paul Byrd made an impressive return from Tommy John surgery last season. Byrd will make his first start for the Los Angeles Angels.

I can't wait to watch Batista. I am glad to finally get out of Springfield watch a Royals game. I always got blacked out or had the Cardinals down my throat.

Right now i'm watching the Corn vs the Horns on ESPN2. Tied 3-3, runners on the corners, bottom of the 8th. Exciting.

BTW, I didn't want to start a thread about it, but WAAAAAAHHSU (Wichita State) got Rock Chalked 13-6 a few nights ago. They are winless vs their in-state rivals (KU/KSU) thus far.

I cannot wait until the Royals are more than 1 game under 500 for good so these drive to 500 threads will stop. Matter of fact I hope they get to 10 games under quickly so all Royals threads stop.

Pickering's back in the lineup today... Emil Brown gets the start in RF, Graffy gets to bat 2nd and play 3rd and Gotay is finally back in the lineup.
