Trojan Horse question
Got my first Trojan Horse last night (3 actually)
The Norton Anti-Virus Program I have detected them initially but said it couldn't repair them without doing a Live Update of virus definitions. So I did the Live Update, then turned off the System Restore feature (Norton Anti-Virus recommended doing this to keep the Trojan Horse programs from being restored). Then I restarted the computer in SafeMode and ran a full system scan with Norton and it detected and quarantined the 3 Trojan Horses. Then I checked the system registery and didn't find any traces of them there. So I restarted back in Normal mode and deleted the Trojan Horses. I basically followed the directions Norton was giving. Any other recommendations about what I should do? Thnaks. |
your done.
keep virus defintions current, run norton all the time, stay away from P0rn sites....download questionable things as attachements or email , you should remain trouble free |
cool, thanks
