The Chiefs already offered Law a contract once. He turned it down because basically $10 million was all he was going to get of the $42 million contract. The Chiefs have stayed in contact with Laws agent, and he's only had one contract offer since. We're just as much in the race to pick up law as anybody.

All it comes down to is how much money the tyeam is willing to defer to the future, and how much money Lamar is willing to hand over as a bonus.
